The quarter, realized by the Stuttgart-based Landes-Bau-Genossenschaft Württemberg eG, comprises a variety of apartment types, including a senior citizens' shared flat and apartments for people with disabilities. The construction project includes 6 apartment buildings with 133 rental apartments, a day care center (4 groups), 3 medical practices, commercial space, a neighborhood café, 14 terraced houses for rent, an underground car park with a usable area of 4,532 m² and 169 parking spaces, outdoor facilities with play areas and seating. The quarter uses no fossil fuels and the sustainable construction method with hybrid wood and solid masonry makes it a very innovative building.
