The contract includes the turnkey construction of a US military hospital. The construction project comprises several buildings and sub-projects including two energy centers. It is the largest US hospital outside the United States with 9 operating theaters and 120 examination rooms. The hospital will provide inpatient and outpatient primary care for military and civilian members of the US armed forces as well as military personnel from crisis and deployment areas. It will also act as an intermediate station for the air transportation of the wounded. The clinic is located in a wooded area in the immediate vicinity of Ramstein Air Base.
